“I hired Obu Interactive to redesign and transfer OshmanLaw.com from an antiquated web management tool, and integrate it into a modern system that would allow the site to be easily expandable, and compatible with search engine guidelines. The site is in excess of 1700 pages of information and Obu’s execution was flawless. Within the first month their efforts showed as our site lifted in the search results of targeted areas, but did have a temporary dip in others. After a few weeks the sites ranking stabilized or improved in most areas. 6 months later my optimization strategy is more efficient, and overall there are more contacts coming through the website. Obu delivered what our firm wanted and they did it on time, I’m very satisfied with their work.”

OshmanLaw.com was part of another company’s network of optimized legal websites which ranked well, however the client found themselves having to abide by certain restrictions of where they could optimize or increase placement. As this impeded on the firm’s ability to seek new business they migrated the site to Obu, and had our team redesign and rebuild Oshmanlaw.com with a database to easily allow for content expansion and blogging. The new content, combined with refreshed coding helped to increase web traffic over a period of months, and an increase in the the number of visitors to the site who contacted the law firm also showed a steady long term increase.
Disconnecting a website from a network of optimized websites and transferring to a stand alone database can be risky. Improperly building the website, or using a poorly designed database could send the site into a downward spiral falling out of the search results, in turn, losing new business. Designing, programming and launching a website with more than 1500 pages (at the time) within 90 days was a challenge. Luckily, the client was as excited as we were to work on it, allowing Obu’s creative and project management team to move efficiently through the design and revision process.
A review of the website statistics prior to the new design revealed several key usability issues:

The end result was an excellent upgrade to an already very good website. When you’re competing to be in the Top 10 of over 9 million, an effort like this is necessary; much like New York City itself.
