How we targeted multiple types of Veterans Affairs (VA) claims within a single campaign to generate signed cases.

Developed an end-to-end campaign with an advertising strategy effectively targeting multiple types of VA claims cases, including PTSD and other mental health claims, burn pit exposure, claim denial, and toxic water (Camp Lejeune).
Established seamless lead delivery to the firm’s intake system via an Application Programming Interface (API) helping streamline their outbound follow up efforts.

CHALLENGE
Our goals
VA benefits are notoriously difficult for Veterans who are applying to receive them in connection with PTSD, sleep disorders, hearing loss, mental health disorders, head injuries, toxic exposure, and unemployment. The PACT Act, which was signed into law by President Biden in 2022, opened the door to benefits for more veterans who were exposed to burn pits or contaminated water. In addition to toxic exposure claims, our clients were looking to help those with mental health claims or who previously had their claims denied.
In this campaign, we needed to do the following:
- Create a national campaign targeting veterans with different types of VA claims and stress how a lawyer can help them with the process, even if they were previously denied.
- Integrate lead delivery with their case management system via API for seamless, real-time delivery.
- Develop and launch different ads for each type of claim, and closely monitor which ones performed, during a time when advertising around Camp Lejeune was at its highest.
STRATEGY
Here’s what we set out to do
- Goal #1: Develop a landing page designed for Veterans and the claims they may need help with
After preliminary conversations with the firms and understanding the qualifying criteria, we built an empathetic landing page for our target audience of American veterans. We used a custom webform outlining the type of claims and allowing them to select more than one. - Goal #2: Integrate lead delivery
The firm handling the intake of the leads had a well-established case management system. Through an API, we established immediate lead delivery to their system to allow for efficient management of the leads from the campaign. - Goal #3: Develop and launch ads, then optimize based on performance for ongoing success
We created custom ads for each type of claim. Over the course of the campaign, we parsed out the highest performing ad sets and optimized around them in order to maximize performance.
RESULTS
The outcome
The campaign resulted in:
- 103 signed cases for our client.
- A decrease in the cost-per-case of nearly 20% in the second round compared to the initial round.
- Creation of unique assets and a framework for future multi-targeted campaigns.
